BadgerThon Dance Marathon 2016 was held on March 11th-12th from 5pm-8am at Varsity Hall in Union South. Thanks to our dedicated dancers, generous sponsors, and countless supporters both on and off campus, BadgerThon Dance Marathon 2016 had a record breaking year! The number of registered dancers more than doubled from 170 at DM 2015 to 364 dancers at DM 2016. In addition to the increased student involvement, BadgerThon and the UW campus also raised the highest amount in history for the American Family Children’s Hospital: $95,599.37!

Similar to DM 2015, there were many new aspects brought to the event. The Jacob Martin Band entertained with their country vibes, and Piano Fondue serenaded students in the early morning hours. Both were a hit and we look forward to incorporating more live music and entertainment into Dance Marathon 2017! Dancers were also able to put their friends in DM Jail – a new addition to Dance Marathon that was enjoyed by all!
